A Safe and secure place of welcome for our unhoused neighbors to refresh, restore, and settle on Sunday morning.

Neighborhood House (Sunday mornings) fills a current unhoused community need on Sunday mornings by providing breakfast and lunch and a safe place to get out of the cold or heat, in a location central to other outreach support for the unhoused community in Allentown, PA, November - April.

Volunteers know as “Hosts” are need to: supply, prepare, and share gifts of a hot meal for breakfast and a bag lunch, and connect with Allentown, PA’s unhoused community. Our goal is to serve the unhoused and build community among Allentown, PA congregations, other community groups, and individuals.

Shellie Fritchman serves as the Neighborhood House Coordinator at Christ Lutheran for the Sunday morning gatherings. She is busy managing supplies/food, etc., and working alongside hosts and neighbors.
